Mefou National Park is situated around one hour from the centre of Yaounde. It contains 1044 hectares of forest. At present we have eight electrified enclosures housing Chimps, Gorillas, Baboons, and various species of monkeys. Mefou is the perfect setting for visitors to see Cameroon's unique wildlife in a natural environment. |

Cwaf is based in the village of Ndangen II, around 40 minutes from Nsimalen airport in Yaounde. Our keepers and management live in the wooden buildings here. The blue containers in the background are the food and equipment stores. |

From the village it's a short walk upto the chimpanzee and gorilla enclosures - however, beware, in the rainy season it can be a muddy journey!
