Adopt an Ape

Our gorillas available for adoption are Nona, Ncarla and Nkan and our chimpanzees are Poppy and Ido.

If you would like to adopt an ape, please send a cheque or postal order for £25 payable to CWAF, to :

giving your name, address and telephone number, plus the name of the ape you wish to adopt.

The easiest way to help us is to donate to Cwaf, and the easiest way to do that is to donate online.

There are three options for helping us, simply click on the option that is best for you, and we'll take you to our online credit card processing page in a new browser window:

  • buy milk for a young chimpanzee for one month : £ 20

  • keep an infant gorilla in food and medicine for three months : £ 50

  • pay for a local person to care for an orphaned animal for one month : £ 100

If you're passionate about primates, why not become a Cwaf volunteer? We offer three month placements in Cameroon where you'll experience every aspect of cwaf's work - just be prepared to work hard!
